We created Kraftworks as a way to bring funds into Children's Ministry. While Kraftworks serves many different purposes our primary goal remains the funding of Children's Ministry and programs that support children. To see where this money has been invested please select the Charities menu option.

Do you have kids aged 9 - 14? Are you wondering what to do with them over the school holidays? If you live near Cheltenham or Mentone then we have the answer for you!

Kraftworks for Kids is a school holiday program for older children. We provide six challenging activities. We offer all of these activities each and every day. In selecting these activities we looked for hobbies that encourage patience and persistence as well as developing practical skills.

During the school holidays we are open weekdays. We run two sessions per day. The morning session runs between 9:00 am and midday. The afternoon session runs between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm. Children are welcome to join us for a session or for the whole day. There are at most five children per Leader, ensuring that every child receives the attention and supervision that they need in order to progress in their chosen activity.

The menu at left can be used to learn more about what we do and what we have to offer.

What Does it Cost?

It costs $35 to send your child to the morning or the afternoon session of Kraftworks. It costs $70 per day to attend Kraftworks (9:00am to 4:00pm). Early drop-off or late pick-up is available (from 8:30am for drop off and up to 6:00pm for pick-up) by arrangement, for a fee.

If you have two or more children attending Kraftworks then it is $30 each per session or $60 each per day.

Bring a Friend!

All the activities that we offer are very social so we encourage everyone to bring a friend. If you bring a friend (not a member of your family) then they can attend for just $20 whether it is for one session or all day!

Where is Kraftworks run?

Cheltenham

We are looking to create the premier school holiday program for older kids in Melbourne.  The environment is quite social and the activities we provide are fun yet they have also been chosen because they encourage patience, persistence and provide practical skills.
